REQUIREMENTS TO BE AN AU PAIR IN SPAIN:

NON EUROPEAN CITIZENS

  • Aged between 18 and 30

  • Single, and without children

  • Responsible, flexible, tolerant, caring, committed, mature, and with an open mind and a positive mental attitude

  • Experience in caring for children (babysitting, summer camps, kindergartens caring for small children, previous Au Pair experience).

  • Native speaker or bilingual in English, German, French or Spanish (amongst others)

  • A basic knowledge of the language of the host country

  • A non-smoker (with exceptions)

  • Available for a minimum of one months to one year, with the possibility to extend the stay up to 2 years

  • No criminal record (A DBS certificate or equivalent police record check must be provided)

  • An agreement in the form of a contract signed by both parties, which outlines how the Au Pair will coexist with the family

  • If a special diet is followed, this much be indicated and details must be provided

  • If the candidate suffers from any illness or allergy, this must be indicated and details must be given

  • As a non-European citizen you will need to be covered by private medical insurance throughout the duration of your programme, and you must arrange this yourself. The insurance must cover you in the case of illness, pregnancy or accident. There is a possibility that the host family will half of the cost of the monthly premium for your insurance.

  • For stays in Spain of longer than three months, you must obtain a Student Visa. Please consult the Spanish Consulate in your home country for more information about how to obtain this visa. The B-lingual Experience team will support you in this process. Remember to start the process at least 60 days before your arrival in Spain

  • For stays of less than three months a visa is not necessary for entrance into the Schengen zone. You will only need your passport.

 

The following attributes are also valued:

  • Completion of higher education

  • Training in First Aid and Child Safety

  • Driving license

 

WHEN SHOULD I SIGN UP?

 

Whether you are looking for a short programme duration (summer), or a longer stay (a full school year), it is recommended that you register with B-lingual Experience at least two months in advance of the date that you wish to start your programme. For short stays in summer you should register no later than the 30th of March Find the registration form here.

REQUISITOS AU PAIR EN ESPAÑA:

CIUDADANOS NO EUROPEOS

• Edad entre 18 y 30 años

 

• Soltero/a y sin hijos

 

• Persona responsable, flexible y tolerante, cariñosa y comprometida y de mentalidad abierta, madura y con actitud positiva

 

• Experiencia en el cuidado de niños (babysitting, summer camps, Kindergartens, hermanos pequeños, Au Pair). Habilidad y devoción en el cuidado de los niños

 

• Nivel idiomático nativo o bilingüe entre otros en inglés, alemán, francés...

 

• Conocimientos básicos de español

 

• No fumador/a (con excepciones)

 

• Periodo de estancia Au Pair desde 1 mes (caso Au Pair verano) hasta 1 año (12 meses), pudiendo ampliarlo a 2 años

 

• Ausencia de antecedentes penales. Deberá de aportar un certificado de antecedentes penales o CRB (Criminal Record Bureau)

 

• Acuerdo escrito entre las partes que recogerá los derechos y obligaciones de ambas. En dicho acuerdo se especificará, entre otras cosas, la forma en que la au pair habrá de compartir la vida en la familia de acogida

 

• En el caso de seguir alguna dieta especial indicar qué clase de dieta sigue

 

• En el caso de tener alguna alergia o enfermedad indicar de qué clase es

 

• Como ciudadano NO Europeo necesitarás un seguro médico para su estancia en España: Cobertura sanitaria en caso de enfermedad, maternidad o accidente por seguro privado a contratar por la Au Pair . Existe la posibilidad de que la familia de acogida pague la mitad de la prima mensual del seguro médico privado

 

• Para residencias en España de más de 3 meses los ciudadanos No Europeos deberán de gestionar el Visado de Estudiante. Consulte el Consulado de España en su país, las condiciones necesarias para conseguir dicho visado. Nosotros te asesoraremos y ayudaremos en la tramitación. Recuerda comenzar con los trámites 60 días antes de tu llegada a España. 

 

• Para residencias en España de menos de 3 meses y si tu país no está obligado a disponer de visado para entrar en territorio Schengen, sólo necesitarás tu documento de identidad o tu pasaporte

SE VALORARÁ POSITIVAMENTE:

 

• Educación superior finalizada y/o educación universitaria

​

• Formación en primeros auxilios y seguridad infantil

​

• El carnet de conducir

 

¿CUÁNDO DEBO INSCRIBIRME?

 

Tanto para experiencias Au Pair cortas (verano) como largas (año escolar) es recomendable que te registres con la menos dos meses de antelación al por los menos dos o más meses antes del inicio de la estancia Au Pair. Para estancias cortas en verano siempre no más tarde del 30 de marzo. Formulario de REGISTRO.
