ABOUT B-LINGUAL EXPERIENCE
My name is Sonsoles Gª Sáenz de Tejada, and I am a teacher of English and German and a Linguistic Consultant. After completing a year-long Au Pair programme in Germany I decided to stay in the country, where I ended up studying and living for 10 years. I am married, and I have a wonderful son who I am educating bilingually in German.
Because I have experience both in au pairing and in being part of a host family, it gives me great pleasure to be able to provide our clients with the same opportunities.
Thanks to the dedication of the various Au Pairs who have stayed with us, my son has grown up surrounded by people from different cultures, and has learnt how to interact in a variety of different languages with his adopted “older siblings”. The Au Pairs that we have hosted have become part of our family, and naturally we have maintained contact with them since the end of their time with us.
It was because of my experience as both an Au Pair and a host family that I decided to found B-lingual Experience, an agency which ensures that the experience of taking part in this kind of cultural exchange is enjoyable both for the young person and for the family.We collaborate with other agencies from many different countries, and we try to ensure that we bring a very personal touch to all of the work that we do.

HOW WE WORK
B-lingual Experience believes in adding a personal touch to the service that we offer, and this is why the in-person and Skype interviews that we conduct are of the utmost importance. We try our best to get to know you and your profile so that we can be sure that the we always select the best candidates.
The personal interview with the Au Pair candidates and the families is extremely important to us, because it allows us to understand what it is that you are looking for, and it gives us the opportunity to give you detailed information about the programme you have chosen. We take great care in making sure that you have all the necessary information, and also in verifying that all candidates meet the necessary requirements to be either an Au Pair or a host family.
We also put great emphasis on the importance of training, which we offer to our Au Pair candidates. We teach the candidates that the Au Pair programme is a cultural exchange from which both sides should benefit. We also give them information about the programme in the host country that they have chosen, as well as resources, guidelines and advice on how to make the time that they spend with the children as enjoyable as possible.
We collaborate with agencies in many other countries, who are responsible for conducting host family candidate, and Au Pair candidate interviews in their respective countries. It is also with these agencies that we begin the process of filtering and selecting candidates for matches. Throughout our years of work, we have learnt that the best way to ensure success in an Au Pair programme is to make the best possible match between Au Pair and host family. For this reason, we try to make sure that the Au Pair candidate and the host family candidate have as much in common as possible.
Once you have completed the online registration form and sent it to us, the B-lingual Experience team will look over it, and will contact you regarding the next steps to follow. We will also invite you to set a date for an interview, where we will get to know you better, answer any questions you may have, and explain how to continue with the process.

Once we have done the interview and received all of the necessary documentation, the B-lingual Experience team will start working to find either the best Au Pair or the best host family for you, so that you can begin to look forward to your upcoming B-lingual Experience.
The process is very similar both for Au Pairs who want to come to Spain, as well as for host families abroad who wish to host a Spanish Au Pair. We will present each party with the other party’s profile, and if each party agrees we will set a date for an interview, either in person or via Skype. If an agreement is reached, we will help with all of the paperwork required in order to finish the matching process.

NOSOTROS
Me llamo Sonsoles Gª Sáenz de Tejada y soy profesora de alemán e inglés y asesora lingüística. Después de participar en el Programa Au Pair en Alemania durante un año escolar, decidí quedarme en el país, realicé parte de mis estudios en Alemania y viví allí durante 10 años. Estoy casada y tengo un hijo maravilloso, al cual estoy educando bilingüe en alemán.
Tengo la suerte de poder aportar a nuestros clientes la doble experiencia que me da haber vivido el programa Au Pair en el pasado y ser actualmente familia de acogida.
Gracias a la ayuda continua de las jóvenes Au Pairs que han trabajado en mi casa, mi hijo está conviviendo con diferentes culturas e interactuando en un idioma extranjero con jóvenes y dinámicas personas que han ejercido como "hermanas mayores" y querido compartir su tiempo con nosotros y con las que naturalmente seguimos manteniendo contacto años después.
Por todo ello, a la hora de asesorar y entender tanto a los jóvenes que quieren vivir una experiencia en el extranjero como a aquellas familias que deciden acoger a un joven estudiante en su hogar, puedo comprender, empatizar y gestionar sus necesidades desde la experiencia personal.
Por ello decidí crear B-lingual Experience, una agencia que se preocupa por que intercambio cultural entre jóvenes y familias, sea satisfactorio para ambas partes. Trabajamos con agencias colaboradoras de diferentes países y ponemos un interés especial en llevar un trato muy personalizado con y para nuestros clientes, tanto para l@s Au Pairs como para las familias.

¿CÓMO TRABAJAMOS?

Intentamos acercarnos y conocer los perfiles y necesidades de ambas partes para asegurarnos de que la selección de los candidatos es óptima.
La entrevista personal con los candidatos Au Pairs y familias es de suma importancia. De esta manera conoceremos sus necesidades y tendremos la oportunidad de informarlos personalmente sobre todos los detalles del programa. Nos tomamos todo el tiempo necesario para informarles sobre el programa Au Pair y comprobamos que éstos cumplen con los requisitos para ser Au Pair o familia de acogida.
Apostamos fuerte en la formación de los candidat@s Au Pairs para que disfruten de su estancia Au Pair junto con sus familias de acogida y que entiendan que un Programa Au Pair es un intercambio cultural en el que ambas partes participantes obtendrán beneficios mutuos. En esta formación se les informa sobre el programa del país de acogida de su elección y se les dan recursos, pautas y muchos consejos para que las tardes con los niños sean lo mas amenas posibles y sean tardes de entretenimiento y diversión.
Contamos con agencias locales y colaboradores externos en los respectivos países, que realizan las entrevistas oportunas a las familias de acogida como a los futuros Au Pairs que quieren venir a España y donde se realizan los primeros filtros. Hemos aprendido a lo largo de estos años que hacer una buena selección para ambas partes es la clave para que la Experiencia “Au pair” sea exitosa. Intentamos pues que los perfiles de ambas partes coincidan lo máximo posible.
Una vez completado y enviado el formulario de registro online, el equipo de B-lingual Experience lo revisará y os enviará un email de bienvenida informando sobre los siguientes pasos a seguir. Así mismo os invitará a realizar una entrevista personal donde además de conoceros os explicará los pasos a dar y solucionará todas vuestras dudas o preguntas.

Una vez recibamos toda la documentación necesaria y realizada la entrevista , el equipo de B-lingual Experiencia se pondrá manos a la obra para buscaros respectivamente la mejor familia y mejor Au Pair para que podáis disfrutar vuestra próxima Experiencia B-lingüe.
El procedimiento es muy similar tanto para los jóvenes Au Pairs que desean irse al extranjero como para las familias de acogida en España que deseen acoger un Au Pair en casa. Se os presentará respectivamente la documentación de aquellas familias u Au Pairs que se adapten a vuestros perfiles y realizareis una entrevista vía skype o personal. En el caso de acuerdo por ambas partes, se os facilitará toda la documentación para terminar de concluir el proceso de tramitación.
