The cost of living in your chosen host country, when rent and maintenance costs are factored in, would normally be around 600-800€ depending on the city. By choosing to take part in the Au Pair programme you will not only save on these expenses, but you will also be earning pocket money! Not only this, but you will be gaining a family that will treat you as one of their own.
It's important to remember that the Au Pair Programme is in no way a free holiday, and will require a great deal of effort, adaptation, and dedication to the family on your part. The family will be available to help you to integrate in any way that they can, but you must work to gain their confidence and show that you can coexist happily with them.
Your working hours and the amount of pocket money that you will receive vary depending on your host country, and the Au Pair Programme that you choose. You will receive all of this information, as well as the family´s profile and a list of the conditions that they offer, when we send you the family file. From this file you will decide whether or not you want to get to know the family, and then we will conduct the first meeting via Skype.

Normalmente vivir en un país pagando el alquiler de una habitación y la manutención te costaría entre 600-800€ dependiendo de la ciudad donde vivieses. Con el programa Au Pair, no solo te ahorras este gasto, si no que ganarás dinero de bolsillo para tus gastos y propio deleite y ganarás una familia que te recibirá y tratará como a un miembro más de la familia.
Es muy importante tener en cuenta que el programa Au Pair no es en absoluto unas vacaciones, implica un gran esfuerzo de adaptación y entrega a las necesidades de la familia, la cual está dispuesta a ayudar al participante en la integración siempre y cuando él/ella quiera ganarse su confianza y afecto mediante su trabajo y su grata convivencia.
Las horas de trabajo y el dinero de bolsillo que recibe el candidato Au Pair variarán dependiendo no sólo del país de acogida, sino también del Programa Au Pair que se elija. El candidato recibirá, antes de conocer a la familia de acogida, toda esta información mediante una ficha familiar en la que se especificarán tanto el perfil de la familia de acogida como las condiciones que ésta ofrece y podrá decidir si le interesa y la quiere conocer.
